Oooh, a quarantined area...Hmmm. It's almost too juicy to pass up.
Ayah giggled into her hand and began to look for a hole in the data
stream. Just seconds before it had been open. Ayah assumed such a hasty
job had to have left a few holes, and of course she was right. She
gently slipped her form through the hole and shouted in glee, "Sweet!
Yay!" Before she could assume her victory dance, she noticed three
players standing around, looking awfully tense. What could they be so upset about? Maybe Ayah can cheer them up! The Wavemaster started to run over to the trio, when she abruptly stopped in her tracks.
She immediately recognized the dark hair and pale face of Aeki, one
of the many admin's of CC corps virus control effort. Ayah's FMD swung
down to the ground as she dug her heels, trying to stop before she was
spotted. She quickly ducked behind the nearby and watched the three with
nervous anticipation. She could feel the palms of her hands becoming
clammy as the controller slipped from her hands. She quickly picked it
back up and stared at the three, her eyes darting between the three. She
also noticed the second girl, looking even younger than Ayah and,
strangely, was without a weapon. She also looked strangely detailed for a
PC. Although Fragment was a leader in graphics, that level of detail
was still unheard of.
Ayah whipped out her staff, its orange color shining in the
artificial light. Muttering a spell under her breath, a bright spark of
light glowed from the sun on her staff. Ayah hoped that the strange
girl, or even the Heavy Blade, would see her. She needed to warn them.
If Aeki was here, then things were bad. Very, very bad.
