Ayah watched in horror as Aeki disabled the firewall, quickly extinguishing the small light she had created. She knew what was coming next: the debugging team. She swore slightly under her breath as she saw the Long Arms warp in, identical avatars and spears poised to attack. Ayah began to run forward when she saw the AI steal the Heavy Blade's sword and attack Aeki. Ayah grinned with genuine surprise, but knew that even a powerful heavy blade weapon could not stop a system admin. She had the system on her side. That, however, wouldn't stop Ayah.

A bright red stream of energy flashed from her staff as a fireball collided into Aeki's back. Aeki screamed in surprise and fell to her knees, looking around wildly for the source of the blast. As her eyes settled on the young wavemaster they glittered with recognition and hate. "Ayah. I thought we deleted you from the last update." Aeki stood back up, smiling malevolently. "Well, as I always say, a bitch can never die, and you're the biggest one I know." Ayah lifted her eyebrows and stuck out her tongue. "I didn't know the system admin had cursing rights."

Ayah then turned her attention to Kioku and Rei, the former ready to run and the latter in the middle of the Long Arms. Ayah stood between them and pointed her staff back at Aeki. "Just because she's an AI gives you no right to kill her. She has a soul, too. Its just different." She cocked the staff and eyed Aeki. "I won't let you kill another innocent...never again!"
