Rei's controller was trembling in his hands, not from fright, but more from frustration. His eyes saw the blademaster arm dissolve away, tearing apart at Kioku's body. She wasn't even a whole character now, just half of a skin, pixels peeling away to reveal the nothing that she was composed of. She was kneeling on the ground in what looked like pain, yet she smiled up at Rei, smirked in triumph, and Rei could do nothing. The NPC sprung to her feet, her one hand grasping at the unraveling data in a futile attempt to suppress her essence to spiral away into nothingness, and darted out of the alleyway.

He wanted to follow her, but what was the point? He couldn't attack her, all he could do was watch her, and even that was limited to within the root town. He couldn't stop her from warping to a field, and he couldn't follow... What were the chances that he could follow her into the exact same field out of an endless combination of keywords? Rei felt aggravation and depression tear at his insides and he wanted nothing more but to scream and scream until something died.

"Heavy Blade Rei! Stop whatever you're doing immediately!" The voice was loud, echoing in Rei's ears, enough to make the Heavy Blade jump, but Rei simply turned his head slowly toward the image screen beside him, his flood of emotions shining clear through his eyes. He seemed to take in all that there was within that tiny box in one sweep, yet absorbed none of it, apparently too upset to bother comprehending what was going on behind her. "You're accelerating the situation out of hand. Remain where you are. You're still under Quarantine inspection!"

Her words only served to irritate Rei more. "Are you kidding me?!" He violently swept one hand out, a tiny, ineffective vent for his emotions. "I nearly killed that bug, and you're telling me that I'm making things worse?! If it wasn't for you reactivating that g******ed attack lock I would have gotten her, too!"

Aeki's frown deepened, but one of her subordinates called out to her before she could say anything. "Miss Aeki!"

"What is it?"

"The Attack Barrier was activated again. Baralai-sama will--"

"That's fine. I'll deal with it."

Aeki turned her orange eyes toward Rei once more, glaring with all the strength of an irritated authority figure. Her words were even sharper than that. "Don't move."

Rei let out a disgusted growl. "What!? It's getting late, I can't stay on any-" Before Rei ended his sentence, the image blinked off, leaving just a blank whisper screen with the white input box humming silently in the center. Rei let out another growl, this time more frustrated and he slammed the X-button on the screen, closing the box. "This is ridiculous... That d*** NPC..." He glanced impatiently from left to right and crossed his arms. "All this because I had to talk to her."

I'm seriously underleveled! I want to go to some hard dungeons to level up, but I need help on figuring out how to gain some quick exp... Anyone help?

Well, usually you gotta have patience... There is no such thing as... quick experience, i think. Visit some weaker dungeons by yourself. You gain alot more experience that way.

I took your advice and went to a really lowleveled dungeon... But the monsters there killed me! What's up with that?! I'm level 12 and I went to Forbidden Snow Gorrefield (level 5 dungeon by the way). Am I just really underleveled or something? Am I doing something wrong? I'm really confused here. Someone help?

There was a pause in the room and then a creak as he leaned closer to the screen, his chin resting on his hand. His other hand groped blindly for the mug of coffee, and his eyes scanned over the post again.

"What's up Takeshi-kun?"

"Something weird... There's a dungeon that doesn't seem stabilized." The mug met his lips and he tasted the cold coffee. "Egh, this is nasty."

"You're supposed to drink it warm, you know."

Silence reigned in the room for several more minutes and he waved his hand. "I gotta talk to head of Virus Control for now. Keep Requiem's Forbidden Snow Gorrefield on the list for me." The chair slid back.

"Sure thing. Nobumasa-kun causing trouble again huh?"

"Well, Fragment's been getting more damned viruses and hackers. Anymore and we wouldn't be able to handle them."

"Well, Nobumasa-kun's in the game right now."

"Oh really? Guess I'll visit him there."
