OOC: Hey AshNight. If I ever did anything that you ABSOLUTELY disagree with then, PM me and I'll get it fixed. ^___^ I'll have to NPC your character a bit since you'll be dropping out for a while...I might even have to NPC Rei a bit. This is all just for cinematics in my head... >.>;; So if you guys don't like it I'll change it.

IC:
The NPC watched both Balmung and Rei exchange their own little tension-filled dialogue while slowly advancing backwards to where Rei couldn’t' see her anymore. That's what she figured, if he couldn't see her, then he could just disappear, like a light that ran out of batteries. But he didn't, rather, he did just what the NPC hoped he wouldn't do.

Rei charged forward, all traces of his former inhibitions were justified now, and probably were set in the far reaches of his mind. He charged forward with all the intent of killing her. But it wasn't a look that the Long Arms back there did. It was a look of actual blood thirst, or revenge, the first that someone had looked at her without the notion that she was anything less than human. How delicious it felt, to have true fear course through her veins.

Balmung braced his own sword in his sheath and unleashed the blade once Rei had swung his. Both swords clashed, sending forth a spark of light that shot out, flooding the alleyway with a second of light. The NPC's watched with wide eyes the clash. The scene played through like slow motion. The two weapons ricocheted off of each other, throwing them back. The two were matched, but by far, Balmung was winning in speed.

The thought didn't register in the girl's head. The blades were so close, the spark, the life of the moment shined in her eyes and adrenaline filled every bit of her skin. Rei was exposed, but he was safe as long as Balmung was still recovering. But the girl was there; she was there and could not help but get caught up in the moment.

The ricochet forced Balmung to take a step back, Rei's brute strength pushing him back. The girl reached out her hand, bracing Balmung's retreat with her shredding arm, and when her hand pressed against his back, again her form flickered, her eyes locked with a venomous glare towards Rei. Her hand sunk into his form, and soon both of their skins were enveloped in the green silicon lines of cyberspace for a split second. Balmung's eyes widen, not sure of what was happening, but the world through his FMD was undergoing changes, altering images to the point where it looked as if it were nothing but trains of data and green, black, empty cyberspace.

Opening before Balmung was his menu screens, flashing with inhuman speed, the screens fluttered through. Main Screen. Skills. Attack. Swoce- MP65 Target: Rei. The screens all vanished the moment Rei was targeted and in that flash, golden rings fell around Balmung, his character logging out of the world, and left behind him, the NPC with an exact duplicate of Balmung's arm and his sword in hand. She swung it forward, the tip skimming the concrete floor, screaming out a war cry filled with everything human, the paradox of what she was.

"Swoce!!" The blade flashed blue, an icy mist exuding from its crystal blade, and with that swing, spikes of ice sprung up from the ground in the blade tip's wake, threatening to impale the Heavy Blade.
